Maybe jealously, maybe anger at the company, maybe at her ex-boss - it's hard to say for sure, we don't have a whole lot of information about her as a character . . .

But she knows that our two MCs have an inappropriate relationship, so she could easily do lots of damage if she ends up focusing her anger in their direction. Hopefully her ex-boss can do something to help - they clearly share some kind of special understanding, even if they're not actually in their own inappropriate relationship . . .

Very weird thing to go and announce like that rather than just go do, but I suppose that's more of a declaration to Lin than anything else but like now whenever she's being chill in any capacity to her coworkers, there's going to be some level of "is this just part of her self-imposed personality change plan", "what is she really thinking", "I bet she's just holding back all her usual nasty stuff she really wants to say". Which isn't exactly ideal if she /really/ wants their opinion of her to change

Compared to if she just started changing without saying anything. People would be like "wow, don't you feel like she's much more mellow nowadays?", "I wonder if something happened"

It'd be interesting if she just slowly acted nicer before hand, or rather just watching her more rude behavior and real herself in more the drop the bomb on everyone like a month later, that's a whole month of "why's my boss so suddenly nice to me" eh I suppose they'd get used to it in a few weeks, ok drop the bomb in 2 weeks then, softens the blow too, not as seemingly random

while this might be good for everyone else, but I'm not sure on how Lin reactions about this change. she already said that she doesn't want Lu to changed from her "the cobra" persona. it seems she likes her that way. let's see how her reactions about this and the effect to their relationship going forward.

about Pingping....yeah it's really sad that she didn't got the permanent position. but I'm sure her lover boss will keep their relationship even they aren't in the same office anymore.....
