All in due time. You'll see more Jiho in this arc. It's a very important arc and IMO, this is when things start to shift in the story. Jiho has had plenty of hints so far too, honestly. You can see it in the way he always looks out for Dani - it just flies over her head most of the time.
Also, you talk about suffering, but Jiho's probably the one who suffers the most because of his feelings for Dani over the course of the story. When you get his POV, which we'll get a little more of in the future, it'll become apparent that all this time he's been trying his best to suppress all the emotions that come with his feelings for Dani - love, longing, joy, jealousy... He tries to chain all of that down.
What I'm saying is give Jiho a chance. He's a more than worthy ML.
