What Ruda is actually trying to do is isolate Dan I from the people around her which is a tactic of abusers. To anyone reading this, remember that you have a right to spend time with other people and have friendships with people besides your partner! If your partner tries to lie to you that you can't trust your friends or does anything else to alienate you from them, your family, or others in your life, it is a RED FLAG and you need to RUN

I don't really think Ru-da wants to isolate Dan-i from the others... I'd say the opposite, in fact he has no problem when Dan-i was able to talk to her classmates, which he had never done before.

The real culprits who have been monopolizing her until now and keeping her away from everyone else are actually the quintet of wonders, in fact in the previous three years Dan-i couldn't make a single friend other than them, and her life has always been in the shadow of the success of the five (especially Yeoriyong).

His manners may not be the best in the world, but from what I understand so far a relationship with Ru-da would be as healthy as possible for Dan-i...

This chapter made me laugh and scream at the same time, the tension is thick.

I agree with Lucrecia down below (don't know how to reply on mobile) like if you hate Ruda, you should also look at the heavy psychological effects the whole crew has on Dani. Just saying. I equally love both personally. I don't think there is "bad guy" and "good guy" in this story, it's up to you who to favor.

Ru-da is annoying the hell out of me right now. He totally gets that it's a struggle for Da-ni to be friends with the Chunyoung and the gang, but no one asked him to take charge of the whole situation. Dude you might be all perceptive and shit but Da-ni barely even knows you. Why are you deciding who her friends should be? Her five closest friends are just supposed to ghost her with no explanation? Da-ni has put in so much resolve and hard work into these relationships and you're treating it like wasted effort.
