And you know why? it doesn’t involve the stupid science bitch trio which ruined the series as a whole. Pretty much the whole second half of the series was about their experiments and antics. They were the masterminds so they had to be integral, shame that whole plot line just sucked a red rocket style dick

It makes logical sense why the author included the science thing: He had to have turned into a dog somehow. It's just that he knew he couldn't just mention it and leave it alone, so he thought he'd be clever and make a whole arc around it.

The fact that it turned into a convoluted mess is just an unfortunate side effect of his own incompetence...
