This story *is* about Rangii... *cough*

It's weird seeing MC be alpha... :p Bully me too

Yeah Ln is ahead now. The Manwa translator needs to step his game up.

Chii's true name is Yeolli?

I forget, but wouldn't stating her true name to him makes her a wife to him? (at least according to ghoul or her race of some sort?)

^I may be 100% wrong, though so please correct me on this one.

wouldn't 연리 be pronounced closer to Yeonri?
but then again, if you pronounce it fast enough i guess it could sound closer to Yeolli.

@Idi0ticGenius While it's literally spelled Yeon-ri it's not pronounced like that. Like how 신라 is never actually pronounced Sin-ra. It's pronounced Silla. Sorry to say you're wrong, but pronunciation speed has nothing to do with it :(
I totally get it if you think I'm wrong (I'm not native Korean, just Korean American) but here's a wiktionary link to lend me some credibility. https://ko.wiktionary.org/wiki/연리지
@Dark Yep, I knew @Thoraxe41 was joking. The guy's been reading this series forever, in both manhwa and LN form lol
@Flame-2-Haze It hasn't been explicitly stated that their true names are akin to marriage rites, but we know that they're really important. I'm paraphrasing, but there was one phantom (I think Chii) said something like, "Our heaven-blessed names are more important to us than our lives."

I rally like how he snaps. It's a Deus Ex Machina without the out-of-place feeling. It's really difficult to use this ancient plot mechanism so skillfuly.

@dijon
nah that's cool, thanks for pointing it out. That's actually something I didn't realize.
I'm also Korean American too, so I'm not actually familiar with Korean in such detail. Once again I've learned something from you like it always had been while reading your translations.
