Unless I'm mistaken I would say him being King is not the same as becoming a global dictator over all of humanity,
it's basically the human realm equivalent of Rangii's position in the phantom realm.
Like she has said before she is responsible for the interests and wellbeing of the lesser phantoms and a force to prevent the stronger phantoms from running roughshod over any phantom or human that crosses their path with impunity.
His responsibility would be to work with both sides to promote peaceful coexistence between the phantom and human realms, with help from his allies/harem of coarse.

Thanks for translating all this, Luis! It's frustrating to see the formerly freewheeling, clever, lighthearted, and funny My Love Tiger go from a fun read to a long winded melodrama that never seems to pivot into anything else but more melodrama, but I still want to see how it ends.
It feel like a lot of series (unfortunately) decide to dump everything that made it them great then veer off into permanent melodrama until they get canceled or end. My Hero Academia being the latest example for me. I sigh everytime I have to watch a new anime episode of that once great show, and I wonder what the creative team was smoking when they approved the storylines I'm watching now.
When a manga / anime's REAL content starts to feel like made for TV filler content that all the old shows used to have, it's time for it to take a hard look at itself and change or just admit that they've run out of ideas and end.
