Oh hey some not-shiroi-koibito cookies, classic souvenir of not-Hokkaido. (白い夫婦, I think? So ‘white married couple’ instead of just ‘white lovers’)
Shiroi koibito (白い恋人) were voted the #1 omiyage for many years. Now they go back and forth with Hagi-no-tsuki from Sendai (a fluffy cake with custard filling). I think they’re too big for omiyage really so shiroi koibito gets my vote.
