@AngryFerret Regarding the heels, or rather in defense of them, there could be a number of reasons as to why it's reasonable for her to wear them. Firstly, as the Empress, she must look her absolute best, even when out on a hunt. The heels also provide her with what little height they can provide and thus what authority she can maintain despite being shorter than everyone else. Furthermore, the heels, while still being "heels" of all things, look much thicker and rugged compared to what she could be wearing, so it's likely that the actual heel is very thick so as to provide more stability in the wilderness. There is also the fact that she is likely constantly wearing heels every single day and thus has the most balance when wearing heels, or rather when she walks on her toes, instead of walking flat footed. Lastly, she is the Empress, and she may simply
want to wear heels regardless as to what others think. At this point no one is going to argue with her, especially if she's already proved to others that she can hunt just fine in heels.
Regardless, it is still pretty ridiculous when considering they are heels of such height, but it's also important to note that people who rode horses back in the day(think 10th century), as well as technically most people nowadays, wore heels because they help with keeping their feet in the stirrups of the horse saddle. With this in mind, you could argue it's more confusing that none of the other riders are wearing heels, but her heels are still unnecessarily high for riding boots. Riding boots today typically have a heel height of about one inch, and I believe the height might depend on the design of the stirrup.
With all that said, most of my information is coming from wikipedia, so for all I know all my information could be incorrect. Take it with a grain of salt.

R It's a combination of a fashion choice that no one questions because she's the Empress, and functionality considering they are riding horses long distance.
