I do kinda like how we've shifted from the early chapter's "wow, there's a lot of fan service online" to current chapter's "wow, it would have been impossible for Youzi not to just see her as her second mom."

While I really, really want to see the present day I do love these little flashbacks and filling out of the why Youzi is fully committed to getting her mom and Ren together, and why many of the others in their life are also subtly helping out. I think a lot of their friends are pretty much a hairsbreadth of just screaming "Marry already!" at the two of them.

It's pretty clear neither of them is over the other and it's a mixture of past history, being comfortable with their current relationship, and probably fear of messing up and ruining what they currently have that's stopping them.
