What's funny is I just now remembered made the EXACT same joke they did, lmao. In my defense, it was in response to someone who said "please add netorare" completely unprompted like a god damn degenerate, so I thought it would be funny to cuck them out of their cuckold fantasy. Not to toot my own horn, but I think that's infinitely better than whatever they got going on.

Actually, it's something kinda risky and most draining thing that happens in the life of a spider.
Risky because if the old exoskeleton is too dry and hard, it can become an actual coffin (yes, a spider can die from molting). Draining because it costs a lot of energy, can take a few days and leaves the spider exhausted.

Designs of both main characters look like they were partially inspired by 2 characters from other work of other mangaka, and male character was already referenced once (haircut chapter), now female one gets a reference to one of main villain guys, who's trade mark was forehead scars/stitches.
