Oh, and I also noticed only after reading the Twitter comments: in chapter 22 Taya reads Frieren manga. I guess she can relate to the story very much, considering her being a possibly immortal yokai... Hence the "Firren" plushie.

And in chapter 25 in the flashback she saved a human when they were drowning which resulted in her mother's death. Taya also saved Haru from drowning when he was going to off himself... now I'm starting to feel sad... T_T
