Absolutely love this series, but I am honestly getting more and more confused about the lore every time we see this cat. So there are supernatural creatures like Taya, her mom (killed), her dad, mantis girl, and as far as we've seen, it seems they are treated like monsters to be hunted down and killed (e.g. Taya's mom, Taya's dad saying to not blow her cover and how almost no one accepts them). Then we have this cat. Does no one take her as supernatural and just thinks she is a person? Are supernatural creatures acknowledged by humans and only some are treated like monsters while some (such as the cat) are ok? I understand that it's author's older character, and everyone loves to meme, but ever since she became more than just a bg reference in a food stall, I understand the world of the story less and less. Like, there are all these serious relationship and lore moments and then there is Pyonko. (All the (over) analysis is purely out of love for the series Yagi ❤️)
