I mean let's get real: this would be a red flag in any real relationship
It's cute because we know her deal, but otherwise it would be a bit alarming
The Japanese just haven't been totally mindbroken by the astro-turfed feminist movements that rocked Euro-American civilization (heavily propagated by a variety of propaganda firms working for various socialist and capitalist governments hoping to reshape the population into an atomized, dependent workforce), so they still can honestly replicate the very real meme of the girlfriend who is upset she is still a girlfriend and not a wife.

Most human societies had a majority of women who don't want to be used, but rather, be secure in their claim on the male they are attached to. Societies that have formalized mistresses like Japan used to don't really have this issue as much, but once formal mistresses were replaced, the tension between the status of "lover" and "wife" got a lot more intense, and justifiably so. I'm sure most men here would be equally unhappy to find out the girl they are (happy to be) with does not consider them "exclusive" or "marriage worthy".

I will add the disclaimer that there were and are some very tribal societies that maintain a sort of neolithic, long-house flexibility where the women aren't really attached to a singular male, but this was mostly only found in West-African Bantu societies where it was possible for women to feed a family without the labor of a male. In the modern-era, we've seen a resurgence of this form thanks to the welfare state and/or corporate subsidies which allows for a similar kind of lifestyle.

You sound like an extremely normal person with a rich social life.

Good enough substitute for now. What next, Taya gets pregnant and now they adopt puppies?

Taya is definitely already pregnant, she just hasn't told anyone yet (rabbit said she "already has one on the way" after talking about having children). Mom's gonna move in when she finds out.

bruh. Its just usually things in manga are like really unrealistic so it was kinda nice seeing something realistic. You don't need to be a bitch about it
Dang I was just making a joke, didn't realize that was a deep insult or something that required being called the b word :korone: :meguuusad:

A true negotiator! Smoothed things over with an appropriate substitute!

Thanks for the chapters!

a joke and sarcasm is different. Yes sarcasm is a humorous play, but it is used to make fun of someone. I wasn't exactly deeply insulted but I was just appreciating the situation so I did not feel like getting mocked for no reason.

Well, everyone's different I suppose. But I didn't mean to offend anyone, so have fun taking offense at every little breeze I suppose...
