When you start saying something then realize you'll be absolutely hated if you finish saying it:

...i feel we got the proper end of last chapter, mixed in with the next 2, crushed into a single chapter.

Pacing felt wack, even more with the swings of dad spider doing the attack, regretting it, getting purged of the foreign influence, and then sacrificing his life, all in the span of a single chapter with barely any inner monologue on his part after fatally wounding his daughter.

Would've been better to put the attack wind-up at the end of the previous one; then the next start with letting us see everyone reacting, Taya taking the hit, dad spider regret + some realization of what he did, and ending with him getting purged while Taya was shown gravely injured; and the next after being focused on Taya trying to get some last words with Haru then everything else as it happens here (spider dad says he'll give his heart after the situation is properly explained, everyone says some words, fade to black as haru is about to talk, then cut to Taya in the hospital).

Nobody noticed the Chainsaw Man reference that Sister Jade did to spider dad as she rips his "heart" out?

This manga is full of references and it's so fun to spot them all
