ashax Can't really say if outdated or not since we don't have that stuff here in germany. Even Valentines day isn't that much of a deal here. I just know that different types have different meanings but i am sure you can look online at that kinda stuff
I remember reading stuff about meanings when I read SukiMega (The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses) a week or so ago, and the thing Komura gives Mie in that story for their first white day after getting to know each other turned out to be something that was akin to 'eternal love' or something like that. Something about the layers of the sweet being compared to the many rings of a tree which is long-lasting. Rather poetic, considering how adorably deep their love was.
Ah, looks like it was actually a confection originally from Germany: Baumkuchen.
Nah, I bet he just wants to pay you back for giving him chocolates and he doesn't even know that it's white day.
Why would he wait a whole month to pay back unless it was explicitly because it's white day and a response to valentines? They're a whole month apart (Valentine's Day is 2/14, White Day is 3/14), so it has to be intentional, because if it was just paying back, it'd be within the week.
