Man those two kids look about the same age. Is the one on the left supposed to be Natsumi and Yuuto's kid or something? They could be siblings, but she looks a bit like Yuuto to me, especially the eyes. Either his kid or his sister's.

The dialogue says that Natsumi is coming back to Japan from working overseas, and it implies both kids are staying over with Futaba, so it's possible they're taking care of Natsumi's kid while she's out of the country. It also says that "Sakurai-san" is living in Japan and helps Futaba out, it could refer to either Yuuto or his sister, but it's unlikely the kid is staying with Futaba and Harumi if both of her parents are around. Also Sakurai's sister would probably have taken Kazama as her surname at this point.

This work is important for two reasons:

*Like others said, it's an example of a Twitter comic getting big. It's also full-coloured. It's basically a part of the webcomic boom of the middle-to-late 2010s.
*Half of the enjoyment is tourist casuals randomly stumbling onto this title, getting weirded out by the most classic and standardized tropes in otaku media, and getting to the comments to yell "Oh, the humanity!" in horror much to the delight of... Actually pretty much anybody who read anything past the most casual of titles.

Still, again, like others said, it's clear that the author lost interest half way through and completely burned out by the end, so we got a whimper of an ending. Actually, we got a horrible ending. Calling it "rushed" or "lacking build-up" is an understatement.

The memes were great though. As was the seething. Cheers.
