Oh, interesting! So Sena's essays are Zuihitsu rather than a simple series of essays on life. That's interesting to know, I didn't know of this form of writing before. It kind of reminds me of Emperor Marcus Aurelius' private Meditations, which he wrote to himself and were published when found post-humously (and now seen as one of the greatest philosophical works of all time)
Interpreting the character's internal monologues as a form of zuihitsu (or 'meditation' in my own translation) makes a lot of sense.

this one isn't really weird though, there's psychological reasoning behind it and m pretty sure the sister gets over her love.
personally i feel like this manga is really about the growth of the mc

Tranquil and mature is a good description. I was shocked when the author described it as "fun and carefree" in the afterward. That does not describe this series at all.

As for the current tags on Mangadex, they should drop the Incest tag (which is bait) and add Psychological and Slice of Life.

I enjoyed this story and it was nice to read as a change of pace. But the range of emotions exhibited by the main characters is really narrow. I did like sombre girl MC, but these characters as a whole did not have a lot of depth or variety other than what you mentally imposed on them. Just because the characters aren't set in high school doesn't mean they can't have a bit of vibrancy and playfulness now and then. The Romance tag on this is a very subdued romance. So just be aware of that or you could end up being disappointed.
