i like the story but it's a shame the artist for the first season couldn't get contracted again. I liked their art style quite a bit. The way they drew the eyes.

Not sure how I feel about it changing from a romcom to a supernatural battle series. It’s not bad, but I think it would be better if it combined the two genres and had a balance.

The first season was pretty good, but then the second season went downhill, fast. Just be prepared for that if you start reading. I'd stop after the first season.

It switches genres, artists, amount of fanservice, removes characters from existence who were pivotal throughout the first season, etc. And not in a good way.

Ya know when it got a new season I was on board I liked the silly plot and characters. Now it's another save the world from ending plot that been done to death by everything yay.

Hina kinda was needed for the dynamic to work. The part of Izumo falling for Anastasia was too rushed and I think it would have been better if the three-way relationship managed with Izumo being the rational head to balance the two out. As it stands, it feels like we're missing something and its weird, especially because

It was a nice comic until the MC answered the Succ feelings, ruined the center of their relationship and therefore the romcom.
Making the whole thing become a global hazard was jumping the shark.
It was like seeing a Oh Great! manga, starts nice in the right direction with all the bases covered and then rised up at ridiculuos levels with secret organizations and conspirancies that scare leaders of nations resolved by kids in school
The artist change was bad yeah, but the plot shift was te real problem.

Yeah, why does every rom com end basically on the same chapter the main characters finally confess? Or they confess in the first chapter and it is various misadventures for 12 volumes. Why can't both happen? Confess in volume three and just keep going? And have it continue to them getting married and having a kid.

Season 1 made me a fan for the hour that took to read. Season 2 stripped that away. It completely drained any interest in checking out any of her other work. Hopefully a future reader will see this and stop at Season 1 and leave with a happy feeling.

Well, that's unfortunate. Was it mediocre? Yeah. But so are 90% of gag and isekai manga. The people that rate this as a 1/10 are proof that critic scores are that much more important than reader scores.
