Reading the comments about the manga and people saying things like he is a shit with her and gaslighting her, I am really confused.
I mean, sure, he is lying to her about some stuffs, but this is far from being a regular situation, he is sheltering someone that will have serious issues with any kind of slip.
The main lie is about working playing the game, but come one, it's not that easy to deal with the situation and I never see him talking about never letting her leave in the future, if she decides that she need to help with money she will need and ID and it will be an issue.
