I would like to know how much was skipped in this adaptation compared to the original work (usually japanese skip a lot, but for chinese works, sometimes they are very faithful to the source) ...
Maybe I'll read the novel later, but my "I'll read it later" list on novelupdates is already so massive I'll probably only be able to go through it after retirement.

Oh my goodness I didn't expect a single panel of them from their streamer era with the chainmail armor would hit so hard, the time skips kill me every time man, seeing them getting old and knowing the end is just around the corner just hurts.
