I think he's a bit supportive but not in a good way. He said he'd be willing to help her if she wanted to open/begin an art related shop.
But still, I think it's a social thing to not speak too much. (I may be (really) wrong on this one, but it's how I understood it through this manhua)

And yeah, he could show a bit more "love" to her like MC...

Anyway, it was indeed refreshing to see a bit of their lifestyle

I had to go back and reread previous chapters. Chapter 193, Wangzi was already stressed out from this cause of how his ex-girlfriend became his girlfriend who is pregnant with his child. He had a difficult time explaining but it seems like he knows the situation that happened to him. At one point complaining to his two buds, he says he’s the one who got scammed.

Now we go to the present. We see the effects of this marriage. Wangzi is close to his son, but the distance between him and his wife is apparent. The two barely talk to each other unless something comes up. Both of them know that she married him because of money and status. She knows what she did. Despite the arguments, they are trying to make the marriage work. The situation is bad enough that they are seeing some kind of marriage counselor for their issues.

And Wangzi used to be one of those free spirits where he just wanted to party and do whatever he wanted. Now he’s weighed down with the responsibilities of being a father and husband when he wasn’t prepared and when he still wanted to be a free spirit. Unlike his two friends who could shift focus on those responsibilities, he basically had to give up so many things he liked to do in order to take on those responsibilities when he wasn’t ready. And just like the marriage counselor said, adults don’t have many ways to vent stress.

I want to see more in how this develops. Hopefully things work out.

as much as i love this manhua , this is getting boring and repetitive. This could've ended at the birth chapter.

If more married couples had this thought process there would be a lot more happy homes in the world. Of course it takes more than just this, but this is a good step. Taking interest in your partners interest and not dismissing it, can lead to so much more happiness.
