The end of chapter 47 is so random and almost like they're wanting to make us assume it's a trap. I'm betting it's going to be just a regular beach party chapter with a little bit of "surprise" action in their sprinkled in. Like the type of action that the main character just does not expect to happen. if they do actually make it just a regular episode and the beach party is just a trap that will genuinely shock me cuz they made it seem so trap like.

This is a fever dream, completely nonsensical and nothing is ever explained, 0 worldbuilding whatsoever but at least somewhat entertaining power fantasy, it feels like its written by AI and the author just goes with whatever it gives him, also its yet another asian story where the MC uses necromantic powers.

This one is very memey. Without knowing Chinese memes and culture (which I didn't know much about without googling and asking AI), you are going to missunderstand a lot of jokes. For example Peiqi should be better translated as Peppa (as in peppa pig). And even Webnovel translation doesn't get this right. Although, they might choose not so, for copyright reasons. Some references are easy to understand, like Doreamon one (much later on).

The other are more obscure references (for western audience) like little vampire (Little Jiangshi). I found reference on it only in Taiwanese encyclopedia:

Jiangshi is a Chinese undead creature that has some characteristics of both zombie and vampire, so it's sometimes translated as a vampire and sometimes as a zombie. In reality it's a special type of undead from Chinese mythology. Not 1-on-1 translation of either. In the novel, author uses it mostly as a vampire.

So, I can understand how you can get this conclusion:

Only way to alleviate this is to explain all the meme. But most translators nowadays don't even really translate. They just use AI for auto translation. I quit webnovel and similar sites because of this. They don't even hire real translators anymore.
