Well, there was that "God" thing/entity but i wouldn't be surprised if other than the symbolism ppl just kinda grouped 'all' of the things behind "N" b/c ppl need a bogeyman to fear as opposed to them being all unconnected then again japan has thousands of youkaiHm! I have to admit, I like this development.... the feeling I get from it is kind of like. Instead of "yes N is this big conspiratorial organization!!!" more like. Somehow it isn't. Like maybe these events are all done by disconnected actors just... driven to do these things. By this idea of 'N'.
Something more like a phenomena then anything else.... I do like that kind of story.
I am curious to see how everything ties together or maybe the point is that not everyone will. My initial thought was that there was no N, no origins, no mythos, nothing. Just an idea some weird kid came up with long ago. But through mis-attributing all these separate incidents to one host what you end up with is a collective Tulpa.Hm! I have to admit, I like this development.... the feeling I get from it is kind of like. Instead of "yes N is this big conspiratorial organization!!!" more like. Somehow it isn't. Like maybe these events are all done by disconnected actors just... driven to do these things. By this idea of 'N'.

Having now done a re-read of this volume all together, I definitely feel this is a bit like something MADE supernatural through pure force of will. Like....
Imagine. A sense of malice, and desire for importance. If that could escape and roam around purely on it's own.
There's nothing more dangerous to me then malice married to desire to be important; that mix of motivation is behind, genuinely, some of the most senseless individual violence in this world. The knowledge that by committing something truly cruel, you will wind up remembered, on the news, in the history books, forever your name next to the names of who you caused misery to.
That is 'N'.
