It makes me think of that one meme(?)/article where it's like "Dad sued the mother who had plastic surgery for giving birth to 'ugly' kids"


Tho i think there have been ppl that come across old photos like "I look like neither of my parents but i found a picture of my great-uncle from the 30s and i look like the spitting image of them"

That said something def happened b/c this is a horror story/that group of family cultists or whatever unless they have some 'fakeout' chapters compared to the 'real' ones (then again this chapter being N wouldn't be the most ideal spot to put it at)

I was gonna say that it seems like this is a mostly supernatural story but thinking it over the incidents we've seen so far have been a mix of things that a human cult could pull off and things that were definitely supernatural.

Also the number of people around each incident that could be cult members is usually in the 0-5 range, which is pretty low. Also they often aren't directly involved.
