It's a mirrored 7 and mirrored G (probably a visual choice or something metaphorical from the mangaka?) Chapter 7-G comes after 6-F (which is next to this one). I just called it 5.5 to keep them in order.Excuse me, @Spiraphobia , but this is chapter 7, not 5.5.
I think it may be a play on his (the character) fears that what happens in his nightmares will be mirrored in reality. Or perhaps foreshadowing something yet to be revealed about what he woke up to.It's a mirrored 7 and mirrored G (probably a visual choice by the mangaka?). Someone did shout "what's going on?!" at the end so something happened, if it's not his mom or so that ended up dyingI think it may be a play on his (the character) fears that what happens in his nightmares will be mirrored in reality. I'm casting my vote for "Invasion from the Mirrorverse" as an explanation. What he sees in his dreams is what his other self does to allow for infiltration.Someone did shout "what's going on?!" at the end so something happened, if it's not his mom or so that ended up dying
I think that the “what’s going on“ was from his mother, when he seemed happy and said thank youmm, can't go wrong with egg on toast...

Oh my gosh I was just thinking about this! Could barely focus on the story because of how good that toast looked.
He was probably terrified of checking, poor guy.i thought he was gonna rush out of his room to check if his mom was still alive after that dream but my guy took the time to get ready for school first
