Hello, I'm the translator of ch 32-35. I won't talk much and will only pour my heart. Note: I'm just throwing off the inner feelings that I'm having (or was). Anyway, some might know, I've uploaded ch 32, but later deleted it.
It's because I was just hit hard when someone said I was 'begging' when I said that the adv chs are available in patreon. I don't know how it works in manga community, but when I first started a few days ago, I looked into a few scanlations patreon, and there 7/10 had set up early benefits and as I've also been translating novels with my own group, I have also set such benefits and there are tens of patron subscribing (<50).
Although I shouldn't listen to these who says 'why should I be your patron, you beggar. You are not even original author.' when they are reading in pirated site, it still hit me off. So, I just deleted all the chs and decided to quit this. But, when I go back, even after a day I couldn't get this out of mind. I know I'll forget after a few days or months, but these time will really be difficult for me.
After all, the word 'begging' when I'm being well fed by my parents and am studying to be an independent man and pay them off, is really too great hit for me. So, after a day of thinking, I decided to release all the chs available of strange grief and pour my heart at last and may it relax my heart.
But, well during these days, my emotions calmed down and now I'm not that tense. However, I still wanted to show them that I'm not beggar. Not to prove them, but to stablize myself. However, well I'm heading way off my schedules, and my scheduled chapters prepared for my novel tl group will end today. So, I decided to post upto ch 35 and end this game of emotions.
Alright, thank you for listening my ramble.
Anyway, this isn't for anyone but for myself and I won't ever put a adv tag in manga. Although it was a good experience of growing up my not so mature heart, it didn't feel good. I've set patreon for support, if you want me to focus in it. And, if you have some manga that's suspended and has available raws, then you can say it in discord.
I wanted to say much, but it has already went too long.
In the end, thank you.

Thank you for the mass update i really like this manga the misunderstanding is fun to read, and I don't know why people mad at you it's normal to ask for donation because editing and translation is use time and it's not like people get forced to pay anyway.

Honestly, the person was being petty, you are going out of your way to translate it for free, and early access being behind a paywall is a pretty fair way to encourage support.

@Suzerain_sama As someone that likes to read manga (too much) for a long time & seen a lot of drama/controversies over the years, take what I say with grain of salt while also trying to remain neutral. Few reasons I can see why people would get mad/triggered over this whole thing.
1. The group (Brutalbot Scans) is doing the translations and they didn't announce that it dropped (as far as I know from time typing this). This can also be seen as sniping which people don't like ESPECIALLY if the work is atrocious &/or incomprehensible. A gentleman's rule that a lot of people agree on is if it has been 3 months since the last chapter it is fine to do a chapter.
2. There is a group that would do a few chapters then ask people for $$ in order to continue but would either make excuses about why it stalled or it be really shoddy work or just leave (some call this a pump & dump).
3. Yes there are groups that do Patreon and would lock chapters behind it but it is more of the fact that scanlation as a whole is still pirating even if certain titles won't see the light of day of getting an official English license. So making money off the author's work can rub some people off the wrong way especially when the group is brand new.
I can type more but those are some of the things I can think of the top of my head while also not writing a whole dissertation. Someone else will probably give their input on the subjects I didn't cover but I would hope this helps you not get discouraged or let it affect your day.
I haven't read these chapters yet since personally I hesitate with a new group or an anonymous person. Regardless thank you for the translations.

It's quite common now and I think it's fine as long as it's limited as a lot of groups use it to buy raws or pay translators, but pretty much everyone with common sense knows that scanlation shouldn't be for-profit because of pretty obvious reasons, besides being bad for everyone that is scanlating because it attracts more attention from publishers. One of the reasons why MangaDex doesn't have ads.
I agree with @Stupid_Rabbit that he was quite petty, but I also must agree that it can be seen as for-profit, as you're literally paywalling pirated chapters instead of just linking your patreon and asking for donations, after also sniping Brutalbot Scans that uploaded just 15 days ago.
If a series is being actively updated and you sneak out the next chapter, that's a snipe. If you do it in much better quality, people probably won't care.
In the end it all comes down to your morals and how much money you want to invest in this, because Brutalbot Scans seems to be still slowly scanlating this manga too.

Also keep in mind that aggregators rip chapters from MangaDex, so deleting chapters after a few hours only drives traffic to other sites with... not the best websites that maybe even have ads.

I am part of Brutalbot Scans and yes, we are not happy that the series were snipped just because you are impatient to know what it comes next. We would like to bring you faster updates but sadly we all have lives outside of scanlating and the owner of the scan was the one doing the TL and he sadly is studying and living in a dorm where internet access is very controlled. We recently got a new TL that will help with this manga especifically. But yes, we didn't drop it and you didn't ask either so this is a propper sniping. Next time, make sure to ask beforehand.

So, it means that it will be okay to just link to patreon and set the adv chs there beyond paywall, while don't mention about it in the credit panel itself? If so then, it must be my fault. However, I won't put adv chs or any other sort, so I don't want to argue.
As for sniping, look at the updates time... Min. gap is around 2 months and max gap, as per shown 4 months. So, wouldn't it be good to upload further chs, when the next update will literary be after 2 months (assumed)?

Ah... Sorry to hear that. I didn't know of it. I thought it was updating reaally slow, so I did it. Now I feel bad man. What should I do? How about this? I'll put brutalbotx group name in the group section and if you can send me credit panel, I'll remove mine and replace it with yours? I don't want you to think of changing credits as in other way, so could you please say. I don't want to delete chs now after such long hours of work, but if you want then I can. Sorry for that, I won't post future chs. If I got inspired and do future chs, then can you send your contact, I'll send you there.

It's pretty fucky and it's not that I care... much. But we're on the same page that we don't want to argue

An option would be to collab with them and work together (the reason why MangaDex allows you to add multiple groups to chapters).
Hope you work it out

I mean, you can leave the uploads while we upload the chapters. You can ask in the discord if you want to make it a joint collab since we are like 6 members only and slow lol

Other point, you are free to set a patreon if you like, I've seen tons of other scans do it, especially the whole "release in patreon first", at least for me that is not a paywall. Take zennin ossan, one of the mangas I do in my solo scan, the previous scan was askling for money in order to release more chapters and at the end the scan just went "bankrupt" because nobody was giving them money and I assure you that they were getting the raws for free. That was a paywall.

I can never get over how much of a piece of shit MC is.
Yeah you are a useless rat thats completely out of his depth 90% of the time but you could at least try your best holy shit.
You are in a high ranking position and dozens of people depend on you the absolute least you could do is not sleep during meetings like its a highschool math class you fucking cunt.
Even in the very first chapter he was already in that position for a few years and made no efforts trying to improve acting like he just walked into the place for the first time.

"when they are reading in pirated site..." It's not illegal as long as it's not licensed in your country and if mangadex was a "pirate site" it would've been taken down long ago since it's a realy well know website. This is how it work in most country, because when you are in the grey zone of law it does not mean it's illegal, only that it was not statued by the existing law.

In the end, it's absudly scamy to make money out of the work of an author without giving him anything. But hey, why would anyone care about the author as long as they can make money out of their work and some MTL?
Some people love to say "lol you give the chapter for free so they cant complain", actualy we can with how immoral it is to make money with someone else work and tool.

Like other said the previous translation was still working on it, so it's obvious that people would think that you wanted to make money out of it with MTL and the minimal amount of work.

You know, Fantrad existed LONG before all this absurdity of "gimi money, i cant c/c and mtl if i dont get money". Anime and manga were tranlasted by fan for free. They only had a small note asking people to donate some money if what was done pleased people. And at the time they all had website to keep up and there was a lot less people on the internet.
It was a LOT more healthy at the time, because there was no one trying to scam people and author for some quick buck by lazily using MTL.

ALL OF THIS is not even talking about how BAD of a "marketing" move it is...
People make way more money when they dont put any kind of paywall or anything that can be seen as begging. It's easy seen everywere on internet, people who make the most money dont directly ask for money nor do they make any difference between people that pay and those that dont.
People give more money to those that are likeable and those that make what they do easily accessible. Why? Simply because most people dont like jerk or dislikeable people.
On the other hand they more easily support people that do their best without asking money all the time. Because most people love to see someone simply do his best and have a lickeable personality.
Some people get as much as an engineer's monthly salary by doing a free gamle solo with this kind of things.

The author wanted it to be different from both, as for reason, you can probably ask the author on twitter

Ah, another sniping drama, you love to see it. Here's my two cents as a mere pirated manga reader that has seen way too much drama.

Every scanlation groups is different, some could afford a high quality translation at a faster pace, while others could only do so in a slower yet consistent pace. Which is why snipers is so frowned upon, because it undermines the effort of those who could only afford a slower pace release. At the worst case scenario, a sniped group would even give up on scanlating a series because they won't see any merit on it. It might be "fine" if the sniper could release higher quality chapters than the snipee. But if it's bad and the snipee gave up on the series, well congrats, we're all stuck with shitty chapters.

Of course, there are groups who purposefully take a long time to scanlate a manga (taking the manga hostage), which is another can of worms. But the general rule is, if a series is actively scanlated, don't snipe it if you don't want to start any drama. Especially if you could only release worse quality chapters, than you deserve all the hate imo.

Problem with aggregator sites is that they are usually filled to the brim with ads and bloatware, you always have the option of using an ad blocker but still. Also, once a chapter is added into an aggregator site, if there are errors that you fix in a chapter here in MD, they are not going to re-upload the chapter again because they don't care at all. Only advantage I see on a aggregator site is that you don't have to keep track of 15 different pages where manga is uploaded but that is really it.
