The fck when I'm confused as much as Krai does DX
yes... more like an emphasis in the realm of "!"So it’s like an “eh/uh?”
you can pretty much drop ツ and leave "!?" there as it is pretty much self evident on what it tries to convey in that speech bubble. Surprised and Speechless. Even in the LN, Art and Marie just went silently scared stiff after Cry called him using that affectionate name.Thank you for reaching out. Regarding that bubble "ツ?!", it doesn't really mean anything on its own. If anything, it symbolizes a sudden stop or maybe a gasp in this context, but we are not confident enough in that to actually make any alterations to it, and so we left it be.
I think in the anime they said arty was a nickname that only mari uses so it was weird for him to do sowhy they look surprised when cry says Arty?
Also thanks for the translation and happy new year
I'm aware of what it means. So a ...!? or !? wouldn't work then? Anyway, thanks.Thank you for reaching out. Regarding that bubble "ツ?!", it doesn't really mean anything on its own. If you’re confused about Arty and Marie, they’re from a different clan, Hidden Curse. Their clan master got the two to tell Cry to stop going after Akashic because Hidden Curse was originally going after Akashic until First Steps came along and screwed Akashic over. Right now, Hidden Curse wants to at least get rid of the remnants of Akashic and want Krai to stay out of the way.The fck when I'm confused as much as Krai does DX
Actually, ツ is also often used to represent a tongue click, which some translators will write as "tch". You have to judge from context.yes... more like an emphasis in the realm of "!"So it’s like an “eh/uh?”
but that's more of チ than ツ.Actually, ツ is also often used to represent a tongue click, which some translators will write as "tch". You have to judge from context.
Depends upon how you make a tongue-click, frankly. For me, it's more of a "nts" sound, where I form an 'n' with my tongue, then make a 'ts' sound in that position. Others make more of a "ch" sound, in which case your suggestion works. But I haven't seen the チ used in manga for it very often.but that's more of チ than ツ.![]()
definitely agree there. but I encounter チ more as a tongue clicking to everything I've read in novels and light novels than ツ since the latter has been used more as an emphasizing thingy majiggy like ド.Depends upon how you make a tongue-click, frankly.
