Gee I have a weird sense of deja vu here
I feel like we've been here before, have we been here before?
I think this chapter and the next were uploaded by a MTL sniper before. IIRC the next chapter is glasses girl getting kidnapped, Sitry going to the enemy base and revealing to them all that she was using glasses girl's appearance as a disguise, and that she's way more Yandere that her Yandere older sister.

Did the MTL really tell you to translate 宝具 as Noble Phantasm in the first text box and Noble Relic in the second on page 24? Noble Phantasm is a specific Fate term anyways.

I feel like Cry and Shadow-sama from Eminence in Shadow are sort of similar. They both end up in way more complicated scenarios than they envisioned when doing anything.
Though in Shadow's case, he's just trying to sound cool and mysterious and wants to be seen doing some cool shit by making stuff up, but his lies just end up being true.
Whereas Cry is trying to do the exact opposite but unknowingly gets tangled up in some weird workings of suspicious orginisations and/or the government/ guild officials.

Now, regarding this chapter. This faceless guard dude sure loves to contradict himself, doesn't he?

I don't understand. That golem was defeated in the WN by a gravity spell stored in a relic via disabling the pilot. How did it happen here?

You know what that's true, in the case for Cid anything he says will be the truth no matter how ridiculous that is and another thing is that he does have the power to back any claim that he says
but Cry is the opposite of Cid, since the truth keeps trying to grab him and keep him in the loop no matter how hard he tries to get out and he doesn't even have the power to back it up
the only power he has being that for some reason truth has this weird obsession of trying to keep Cry in the loop

This is following the LN I think? The method is shown in the following chapter.

Of course the lie detector won't work on Cry, if the guy himself knows jack shit of whats happening.
It was 90% Sitry's fault, she's been doing 5d chess this whole time.

Its not specified what happened exactly. But they do clarify it was not an artifact. Nor was it sitry, since she thought it was MC.

And since there is no1 else aroubd strong enough to do it. My bet is on the infiltrator Sophia. I bet shes also heavily deluded of mc's powers just like every1 else and perhaps admires/loves him

The verb in their series’ respective titles describe that well.
On this one “wants to retire” (intai shitai). On Shadow’s “wants to (longingly) be” (naritakute).

The faceless dude is a bureaucrat, isn’t he? So probably not a surprise.
