I can’t help but wonder if he’s some kind of clutz genius super adventurer. Like with ridiculous luck so even though his base stats are low everything works out in his favour, it’s both accidental and simply the reality of the world and everyone else has realised how absurd he is with an absolute success factor but from his perspective he’s just a useless conman being carried by his childhood friends.
