Haha, I wondered how many comments it'd take before someone said that. Glad someone didn't disappoint .

I mean, I'll stick around for another chapter or two to see if it gets better, but I genuinely hate the whole 'MC gets betrayed by his party' trope. It's one of the most generic and overused cliches ever.

I think the only time I liked the setup of this premise in recent times is in 100 Exiled Worlds... kinda proves you can have this setup and still make it into something fun and engaging.
