The plot execution so far seems to be a variant of the popular teasing gyaru x otaku romcom formula, except they're not in high school but in university. With cohabitation shenanigans on the table. Seemed a bit generic, but I'm gonna keep reading this even if just for the adult gyaru lead. The world needs more adult gyarus.

I agree. No doubt the MC won't remember for convenience but I feel like we're going to get some childhood friend backstory or he knew her before her gyaru transition backstory.

I'd be surprised if it was simply her developing a crush on him while they are working together.
