I've only gone clubbing twice, once with classmates, which I hated, and the second time with my brother because Dragonforce was in town, which I enjoyed quite a bit.

Damn. If he understands and enjoys the music and can dance to it, then Akiyama could totally get into that scene. Just need a little bit of a glowup (and he certainly could have one). Dancing is super fun. You don't even really need to talk to people all that much, just smile and dance (and maybe shake your head if you have to decline something).
