Such a cute, and dare i say cool, concept. I am not a genius but I relate to Yuu. In school I score higher than most despite my less than stellar attendance and that caused my classmates to be jealous. I isolated myself and pushed people away before they can push me away.
Would really like to see this as a series and witness how Yuu and Izumo grow together.
One thing I hate about this is the 'cute' scene. Why can't we let girls/women just be cool and handsome? Cuteness has always been associated with the feminine and as a gnc lesbian I always feel icky when it is used for cool or masculine women. It feels like a reminder that a girl will always have femininity within her. (Again, this is a personal opinion and has happened in other works that I just needed to vent a bit.)
