This is a 6/10 for me. Thanks to that bitch Kyoko who keeps coming back like a cockroach that just wouldn't die (thank god she actually died though, rest in piss bozo) and the MC who sympathize to her DESPITE SHE LITERALLY CHEATING AND TOTURING HIM MANY TIMES. The good ending is nice, and my favorite character is the uncle, he's just that guy.

Cheers for the story. All things considered my own personal head canon is that through sheer power of will Yuko is going to be able to get her ego back if the rapist could do it too. Maybe Rei would help her out with hypnosis or something I don't know.

I loved this story, the mystery was intriguing the love story was chilling and passionate. This one of those rare romances where the protagonist doesn't fall in love with a monster because there's a human heart within, he falls in love with the monster, period. He doesn't simply tolerate the grotesque nature of his lover, he is attracted to it.
I'm kind of sad to see that many people think the plot is too convoluted and that the plot twists are jarring, but trust me that's not the writer's fault, the translation really doesn't do this story justice. Sadly the botched japanese -> chinese -> english translation made it so that crucial plot points and foreshadowings were basically unintelligible, that's why nothing makes sense and everything seems like it happens out of nowhere. Truthfully everything about the story is clearly laid out from the beginning, as you can see chapter 1 literally spoils the ending, the entire story was planned from start to finish. I read the original web novel in japanese and it's so beautiful, I wish westerners could also see this work the way the author intended.

i read on a friends suggestion was not displeased. now il give this a 7.9/10 cause i did enjoy the binge read but there were some painful bits to go through and watch like the bitch that is Kyoko and the extremely horny scenes between MC and Yuko. in a way this manga reminds me pretty well of Sankarea: Undying Love since
1) both the FMC's are dead black haired beautiful wealthy girls
2) both of them sucked the MC's blood more than once
3) each girl has supernatural strength and speed although they have different powers
4) They require sustenance that is not normal human food
5) Sankarea Manga Spoiler : both of the MC's have had their body parts eaten by the FMC's like Chihiro's heart and Rei's eye and arm.
I definitely enjoyed Sankarea more but this is very solid even if there may be some plot points that i didnt really understand or just forgot.

I just read the sequel (or at least what I thought it was) and holy shit

The plot that is more aliens show up, daisuke gets his own police squad and the others join in to help him
But there's so much stuff like:

• Shiori eats Louis' corpse which merges them and allows him to pop out and talk as himself every once in a while
• Rei gets an owl alien yandere which pleads for him to eat her as she's dying so they can be together, he agrees but there's an actual reason why though
• As revenge and jealousy for said owl incident Yuko paralyses, liquefies and sucks his organs and almost fully eats him
• It has a happy ending where they go on a honeymoon
• There's a dog that got turned into a spider (thankfully there's no beastiality)
• The final antagonist/s is a clone Kyoko and a Kyoko army that the forensics guy made from her corpse
• Daisuke somehow manages to become nearly naked in every single fight
