Yeah I think I may have been right in my previous comments, he likely does have hidden incestuous feelings for his sis and he himself has not fully caught on to it, and that is what is eating away at his psyche.

But Mochizuki has caught on to it, and she is trying to kill the incest route in the cradle before it starts.
He wants to be in control. His sister being encouraged to move forward makes her less dependent on him. It makes him feel like he isn't needed. He doesn't understand his own position.

If you disregard the percieved creepiness Mochizuki is the one doing ot right though. She is building up the sister to be her own person.
I would say for sure, but MC is trying for her to go back to her big sis from the past, like Mochizuki approach is good, but is she ready to go to work?? like she could easily get taken advantage again and would lie to her family to not make them worry.

Still Mochizuki has been trying to understand them better than the MC at least.

So what does she hope to achieve with the sister and MC
Her main desire is getting into a good family, likely because her own is lacking in some form. She saw the MC's efforts to help his sister as the ideal family dynamic so she became obsessed with inserting herself into the family, probably also becoming with the MC himself in the meantime. From there she helps the sister become more independent because it further improves the family dynamic, makes herself look like a good addition to the family and allows the MC to give her more attention if she gets with him.

Exactly. He believes his sister now feels pressured into changing herself. But there's a chance of him being wrong about that.

She wants to mold them in to her ideal family. She is just as manipulative (and selfish) as the rest of the fuckers when it comes to the sister. That's why MC is so angry because he was late to realize it and now the damage is done. He will have to break the mold and re-do everything. She hit the %100 understanding but the wrong one (someone else's).

It's fascinating that no one was able to get this part. Do you guys think he was really THIS angry because sister is about to move forward without him or wants to fuck her? Do you think he is also this selfish? He is angry because what the crazy bitch wants is not necessarily the same as what the sister (or him really) NEEDS. Sister needs to arrive that conclusion herself, not due to some outside interference with an agenda. Now sis starting to slip up again in order to appease someone else(with an agenda) and he got tricked into supporting it in the end. That's why he is angry. Though he's seen through it at the last second.

But it will be pretty stupid if he still keeps Mochizuki around after this or at least not shut her down for good.

So sister is not understanding the way the brother wants her to understand (with his penis). So now he mad cuz the other girl made her understand in another way that he did not approve of (cuz his penis was not involved).

So now the author will have to write a plausible scenario where the bro is actually a super man who knows what's best for his sister. Sounds like a plot to justify someone being too involved and obsessed with their sister after saving her once from a bad situation.

Am I stupid or does this chapter make no sense?
He went 48 chapter trying to help his sister enjoy life, and now that she is, apparently there is a problem? I got the whole "I want to be part of your family" stuff, but I don't get really get how that would make the big sister lie about how she's feeling.
Maybe I just didn't understand the series from the start, idk

I honestly don’t see the difference between this interpretation and Tanuki’s behavior up to this point, if I were to give this story a good faith reading, the whole point is that the sister has to find her own way because everyone sees her as this object. She’s not a vessel for sex or delusions about saving her and grooming her into some weird daughter wife, she’s not “Big Sis”, she’s not family you never had, she’s Komaru!

And I would personally elevate this above fun slop if author leans into this idea and give some story from her point of view, and have Tanuki and Mochizuki form genuine relationships with her authentic self.

He wants the sister to be truly independent. That's why he didn't interfere when the sicko teacher talked to her alone in his office. He needs her to stand up for herself and say no. And she did.
Story makes a point that she easily folds under pressure. We know this. He knows this as well. Mochizuki however doesn't really care. As long as she can get the family she desires.

What Mochizuki's been doing for the last chapters were straight up gaslighting. She wants this family to be in a certain way and she is manipulating everyone in order to do so. Even if its not out of malice, it is still selfish. She is obviously not right in the head either.

Pretty great writing, even visually translated with the self-imposed distance on the sister. Tanuki realized how selfish his endeavor can be, but at the same time, he is right to be wary.

Any other person, getting a part-time would be no big deal. But the sister seem to still consider herself a burden, and now that she thinks she sees him getting along with Mochikuzi, she's taking this as a cue to push herself out.

Funnily enough, that's even the opposite of the psycho girl wants, so the sister is not only ignoring what she truly wants but what everyone else wants.

Truly, you can't love someone that don't love themselves. She's not a burden but literally the revolving part of this beautiful mess. Do not leave the bosom of those wholesome yanderes! She's even safer than a president with those two around

If this is true then he’s going to have to trust that she’ll figure out Mochizuki’s game for herself, or what’s the difference between her and Tanuki “making her understand” but on their terms?

Ultimately he wants her happy, but only as the Big Sis that he knows, at least at this point in the story. Which is not evil but not great either.

And frankly, I do believe Komaru wants to be independent, why take that from her? like damn it’s just a part time job, lol.

college isnt for learning shit, its for building connections, think of all the idiots who managed to attain their position due to nepotism, think about it and realize that you need to work 1000x more to attain what they achieved without connections

Part time part is beside the point in itself. Problem is someone, once again, using sis to achieve their own plans/needs. That's why he is angry. Mochizuki doesn't truly have the sister's well being in mind as long as the "ideal family" she has planned in her mind (which is obviously a VERY troubled mind) is formed. MC has a problem with the method and its implications for the future rather than the end result. He fell for it as well and he is angry that he did.
