She should just look for another job already. Staying in one company for the rest of your life is a last century idea and just a plain awful tactic today. Of course, that won't happen because the manga needs her to have shit coworkers :kek:

Thank goodness the pandemic occurred, because it opened a lot for a lot of people, more truths, and one of them was the acceptance of being more mobile with ones' job.

If the job does not fit with you, then you need not despair, you can always find a better one,be it the same pay with better work or the same work with better pay,if not an entirely new field.

And even the Japanese are starting to learn that tradition is just peer pressure from dead people who no longer have any say.

All we need now is much, much better understanding of mental health, for a lot of the worlds' troubles can be solved once you resolve this.

For her, though, the status quo hasn't quite changed, mental health is definitely going to stick 'round, but at least she has a nice chair.

I would not take an internal survey like that unless it was anonymous. Who tf wants to meet one-on-one with their boss and describe why they hate their job? Not a lot of people I can imagine.

Thank you for the translation (I can't get over how pretty Namihara and Minase are).

Anonymous work surveys are never really anonymous. That said, Japan makes it difficult to fire employees so might be a great chance to really rip into dumb bosses.
On the first part yeah, I've received memos after surveys letting everyone know that if they found serious complaints on a survey, the "anonymous" survey answerer would receive a threat offer to meet in person to discuss the issues... just make sure you confirm your identity to a manager so they know who to sack thank when you do! well she did semi-threaten to 'report' it to some other place or so, so i'm assuming there's some 3rd party thing for 'rights' like osha but if 'black companies' exist i don't think the law would be on too many working citizens' side, tho comedy aside i'm sure there are cases where ppl immediately become neets after one job lol
