They did multiple times, and they also kissed though, although t was accidental. Still I’m ok with the ending. Obviously some closure would have been great but is bettter than having a time skip showing they went different way. It was ok, but it could have been worse.

Well the ending arc is a let down story telling wise.

I quite like that there is to this story no I love you confession end, but the S&M collar submit the vibe. Some inner dialog while that happened would have helped like in previous "breather" sessions.

I also think it is a letdown that the pair of Nana and Kaoru never get their first collar back, even if it was saved and so near. But I guess it is fine that it helped another pair to get over their relationship problem.

@Airwave2k2 was it confirmed that the teacher's collar was their old one? Always had that feeling but decided it wasn't lol. Regardless, I liked them getting their own custom made collar. It feels more intimate that way

When Kaoru's mom throw it into the trash it was around the time when the teachers boyfriend worked as a garbage sorter. And since it is not an ordinary dog collar but a customized one by Kauro for Nana it has to be theirs.
It doesn't take anything away from the second collar - this is like their engagement ring and has its own story of intimacy. The first collar is a memento of their get together you can not replace. And that is the sad part, that it gone missing and never returned even if it was near.

Before Kaoru left to Okinawa, this was probably going to be one of my favorite manga, but those finale fucking arcs were so hard to get through. Looking forward to the other parts though, maybe they will hopefully change my view.
