@mommunism Oh I'm aware of that, but it usually just make you more likely to catch a cold by decrease your immune system's responce time, not show symptoms of the cold a lot faster after exposure.
I'm not sure where you got that 10 hours timeline though, since other than one "doctor" in a Q&A on some random forum online I can't find anything that backs that up. I'm sure it's "possible", but I highly doubt that's the case here.
Especially because she's coughing, which is NOT the first symptom of a cold. A cold may start with a itchy throat, sneezing and fatigue, but certainly not outright coughing from the get go.
A cough when you have a cold, is caused by your nasal discharge dripping back down your throat during your sleep, irritating it further, which usually happen a few days AFTER the first symptoms.
It's blatant misinformation.
