I realized why these new chapters bother me so much. There's more to life than getting married or romantic relationships. I haven't see this girl have a single friend who didn't eventually become a romantic partner. There is NO NEED for EVERYONE to fall in love, get married and have children.
Naoto is not comfortable in her own skin and she can't talk to anyone about it. Maybe Kai at first, but that ended too. She needs friends period. People she can rely on period. Marriage / Romance / Love is just a single way to get there, not the MANDATORY way.
