Man, ngl, the white knight’s clothing is super bland. Like, it’s chest armor over a black t-shirt? I know the mangaka and original author probably don’t want to invest in character designs for a lot of the characters that are essentially just supporting, but I couldn’t get over how boring it was. Especially since there are some solid designs in this manga.

Glad Remme was able to get the victory against what is essentially his weakness. White magic resist > Black magic debuffs; knight > mage in close combat. The only reason the debuffs affected him early on was because he was lending his power, as soon as he stopped, he had Remme on the run. Remme basically had everything stacked against him, luckily Nicola came through with support.

it would also be nice if he could debuff only some part of the body, or turn on/off his debuff in rapid succession (or irregular interval) to make opponent lose tempo/balances and use those opportunity to strike, so many potential

Have to say remme seemed incredibly weak here. He was not really able to do anything at all at first and got completely bodied the moment the opponent adjusted his tactic. His win did not really feel genuine.

Tbh this still seems unlikely for Remme to have any trouble in 1v1's unless he's fighting like a lord lmao. I feel like he's still holding back. Just being able to slowly take away ones senses with slowly debilitating them from the start even if the foe is a white mage should net him a win pretty easily if its so strong against the foes in the past.
