He markets himself as a protector but his design sense doesn't work for him...

I know he wants to showcase being a high defense hero by not taking damage while forgoing armor, but going for leather vest with a hood just looks weird for a tank. At least have bracers to fill the empty space. (Actually, did they use all their budget for the sister's outfit?)

He should've gone for a minimalist tight cloth shirt to emphasize his slightly lean build or even go full shirtless with some belts and stuff, to show off an unscarred tank.

He could even go Achilles style and wear a shiny metal chest plate, one that looks adamantine would be fitting.

Sister already looks out of place with her outfit, why not have all the members look more out-there instead of just have one prince-esque hero.

Also, his acting is subpar. He should be going all out in his stern but protective older brother role, but he's just acting like a basic cranky leader.

Basic call outs like "stand behind me" or something, would always put you center stage even for just a single scene. Especially if you're specifically saying it to the main star who is almost always on the spotlight.

Tbf, he knows that the sister has more potential and he wants to get some action as well by being the "protector" and "brother." But he doesn't have a shield so he isn't even committed to the bit.

I do say. The adamantine hero is pretty ballsy to go into a dungeon without some gear to cover his weakness. Glasses are fairly easy to knock off from your face when you are moving around and such which is the reason why people get specialized sports goggles.


I'll gladly replay a map like that if they are going to serve something different when I return.

I commented about him having no design sense. (Basic af leather armor for a tank hero and he doesn't even market his Adamantine skill in his design.)

But yeah, I think he has a bit of narcissism in there if he's desperate for fame and also doesn't want to cover his face... he's even keeping the lame glasses like it's his iconic symbol.

Seems he wants to market his "no armor needed" style, but an Adamantine helmet with built in glasses inside would be cool (with corresponding armor ofc). And he can just remove it everytime they're just traversing the field and interacting with each other. (Although, I wonder what would be better since Adamantite in JP is usually gold but in most others it's greyish green or dark grey.)

An ancient Greek warrior style would be most suitable for him since he has the build for it and he can be like Achilles.

Just a minor thing about the notion that our MC turned the dungeon into an "intermediate level"...
He didn't.... With the academies the meta changed, he merely adjusted the difficulty, and challenge, to the new meta, with an adaptive twist for overlevelled gold-diggers.

That way he keeps his word about keeping the dungeon "training level" , while at the same time increasing its usefulness and appeal.

Even on official publisher it's only up to chapter 27. Maybe kirei is just snatched the chapter from there not translating it from raw.
