im sobbing so fucking much. there's a stain the size of my entire head on my pillow just of tears. jesus christ. when i saw this recommended by someone in a tiktok comment for toxic yuri, never did i expect something like this. i don't think ive ever read anything that has shaken me up this much. every single one of the characters is so, so complex, and you can't help but feel all of their emotions within you as you read. hopefully the darkest thing i'll ever read, and im certain i wont ever come back to revisit this, but honestly? this was quite beautiful. as horrifying and disgusting and fucking heartbreaking as it was, this may as well be the best written manga i've ever read. i'm not sure if i should thank the translators for this or to curse them, but either way, i don't think ill be forgetting about In The Gardens of Gehenna anytime soon.
