Naruto - Vol. 6 Ch. 54 - Sakura and Ino

Like seriously, we have 3 lead characters. One wants to be acknowledged by the village full of people who ostracized and hated him by becoming the best ninja in the village, the other seeks revenge against his brother as the last Uchiha left, and the last one likes Sasuke…
And she doesn’t even like Sasuke because he was kind to her or something typical, she just likes him cause he’s the coolest guy in class. She immediately gets put off by Lee because he looks a bit weird, she’s incredibly superficial. One of the bigger issues plaguing Naruto is that most of the female cast just serves as a “I like him so I follow after him” character, and Sakura(and Ino in this chapter) is the perfect representation of that. Unfortunately this won’t be the last critique that I have of this manga so for whoever stumbles upon this, look forward to more.
