This is easily the least interesting fight in the manga, like I can’t think of any other fight that is worse than this one. Its sad that because Sakura has nothing unique about her fighting style(unlike every other rookie), she gets paired up against the one opponent whose jutsu can only work in combination with others. Like if Sakura got put up against anyone else even choji, she would’ve gotten beaten. I can’t believe Kishi didn’t give her anything, she‘s just using basic academy jutsu. And Kishi NEEDS to have the characters say how great she is so that we understand because we literally can’t see it. I can’t believe this fight takes up 3 chapters, I feel for the readers that read this weekly. Also she breaks out of the mind possession because of a gag her character has, like really? How did this jutsu ever gain any viability if the target can just will themselves out of it.

I can’t believe Tenten got off-screened in the manga lmao. We just get to see Sakura and Ino talking about their stupid love rivalry involving someone who doesn’t give a shit.
