Introducing and doing a play against a rival school before the actual scrimmage... I guess this is the pacing a sports manga needs to survive in Shōnen Jump. Hopefully it pays off. Either way, the setup for that was hilarious. When it is not doing balling, this manga has a silly charm to it.
The seniors really are all goofballs, and that's great. I would love to see future chapters characterize them more.
