Glad to see this getting serialized. Hopefully it will work out and give Jump an actual sports series mainstay, or at least make it to 40 chapters...

This first chapter was basically the same as the one-shot, except it introduced some upcoming characters. I enjoyed the one-shot, so there isn't much for me to say except that I hope this series will maintain momentum and not lose its charm. The characters are fun so far, but I hope they get more development as all good spokon characters do.
