Since the son looks like he did, seems more likely he'll be the one attacked, but he might not because we need to make the public turn on Red.
Red is going to look suspicious, as he's trying to locate all the rangers, and obviously the attacks will follow him. Yellow was still public, so her getting attacked early on was obvious; Red being attacked secretly first though would make outsiders think he was faking his own attack since it didn't even send him to the hospital. Green has some publicity, but only getting attacked after Red dug up info is bad, etc.
