From the looks of it, it looks like he's using the "eraser" part of the pen. He's probably applying a censor, or making an erasure vid.

I checked the raw and the joke is more like censor -> blur -> blurring reality then 'blurring reality is okay, everything being too orderly/normal/straight-edge is a hassle' saki asks for an example -> 'like what I'm doing right now' i.e. drawing doujins. So it's a joke about how doujinka are a bunch of weird perverts and their culture is based on 'blurring' i.e. A culture of grey'. It's not an easy joke to translate I guess.
