I hope both of them turn too. take down the useless god and burn that money-worshiping church to the ground.

@MCX01 I hope not, it's already esitablished that the demon king is indeed evil. If Soffione really hate god I sure hope that she has a really good reason to do so.

Huzzah for whole chapters! It really dampens the experience and like it's said, loses a lot of nuances.

She loves every human. Oh, hey, it's two humans! They must be god's lapdogs, I gonna kill 'em.

Either the "God" is a huge perv that hit on her or she found out that the Demon king and God are the same person, that's either been keeping the war between monsters and humans going out of boredom or creating a excuse to have the monsters eradicated by the humans. Cause you know, from his words "They're unsightly"

I don't think God is evil or anything. At least, I hope he's not because that'd be cliche as shit. He's incompetent, most likely.

Also, it seems the Holy Sword has the ability to absorb corruption which turned it black. That meant the Holy Sword our MCs been using (currently at the capital) hasn't done its job properly, or maybe hasn't absorbed enough. Maybe Soffione here left God because he was content with the corruption of the world so she went and absorbed it all over the place to the point it became a Cursed Sword.

Soffione is a person who loves all humans and would do anything for them. God has no ill will towards her but she definitely hates him, probably because he's too lazy and uncaring at times while she cared too much.

Ah yes the "I insist on being uncommunicative no matter how counter productively retarded that is" trope. Bully.

@Kanol i dont see why not.... in the novel like percy jackson the gods could have solved all the mortal problems because they are nearly omniscience but they chose to be so passive and leave it to their children to solve it and only give clues every now and then.... it’s necessary to keep the story interesting and mysterious

@Logic That makes sense as a motive for a bored, indifferent god; Soffione is presumably not letting them stumble about in the dark for her own wretched amusement or to let them learn the hard way. "what happened to make you hate god" is a pretty straight forward question to dodge in it's entirety. If the answer is something reasonable like 'he wouldn't resurect my dead buddies here' then what's her motive for not answering?
