thank you for the translation ! i like this series more than its counterpart, it would be nice if it ended up as a coming of age story rather than a romance, after the rain (mayuzuki jun) style

This is a random thing, but I can't help noticing how the restaurant table they sat at keeps changing sizes between panels lol.

His immature attitude is so painful to watch most of the time, but it actually worked pretty well in this conversation. Extremely pushy guys are the norm in shoujo, so it's nice Nao here has stated clearly his own feelings, but since Sena told him she can't view him romantically, he's not going to keep pushing directly. But he did tell her to look for someone who'd treat her fairly. Right after he had told her that he believes she should stay as she is and not hurt herself by denying her own needs for other people's sake, which is extremely fair.

I still need confirmation on age gap if he's still in high school. He was elementary while she and his sister were middle, and they're both now working (Part time?) jobs while he's still in high school. It's probably at least a five year age gap and he's almost certainly not 18. Even if he was them getting together would be weird. Weirder still cause up until a day ago she had been calling him lil bro for all the time they've known each other. Why do manga authors do this?
